A century-old winery founded in 1877 by Don Miguel Martínez Berberana in the village of Ollauri, in the heart of the Rioja Designation of Origin.

We are looking at a true oenological gem. The 1950s in Rioja left an extraordinary legacy for lovers of vintage wines. At Alldrinksauction, we are passionate about old wines from historic wineries such as Berberana, especially those from the 1950s and earlier.

The Berberana Special Vintage 1952 remained for 18-24 months in large vats of old wood from the winery’s founding period, then spent 8-9 years in 225-liter American oak barrels. Bottled in the 1960s.

Bottle in extraordinary condition, with the liquid level at the upper shoulder. Label slightly stained.
