Founded in 1987 and located in a historic underground wine cellar in the famous Barrio de la Estación in Haro, the birthplace of Rioja wine, where century-old wineries such as Rafael López de Heredia and Muga are also located. Bodegas Roda manages around twenty vineyard plots in the region’s finest ecosystems, from which the best grapes are selected and vinified each year. At Roda, vinification takes place in French oak vats with temperature control. Aging is carried out exclusively in 100% French oak barrels. Roda wines symbolize the new Rioja style brought to perfection.

Cirsión is the winery’s super-premium wine. Distinct from the traditional Crianza, Reserva, or Gran Reserva classifications, Cirsión is produced from carefully selected vines whose grapes have achieved exceptional ripeness.

The 2015 vintage was officially classified as very good in the Rioja DOCa.
