Bodegas Federico Paternina is a historic winery founded in 1896 by Don Federico Paternina Josué in the town of Ollauri, Rioja Alta. Paternina is considered one of the great classic Rioja producers. In 2014, the winery was acquired by the Marqués de la Concordia Group.

The 1982 vintage was an excellent harvest. The wine was aged for approximately 24 months in large wooden vats, followed by about 48 months in American oak barrels, and then further bottle-aged in the winery's extensive underground cellars before being released to the market.

Bottles in excellent preservation condition. Stored in a temperature-controlled wine cellar.
