Fundador is the world’s first commercially marketed Brandy de Jerez. It was released in 1874 by Pedro Domecq Lustau in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain. Produced by Bodegas Fundador (Spain’s oldest winery, established in 1730), the brandy is crafted using Airen and Palomino grapes. It owes its signature smoothness to aging in American oak Sherrry casks through the traditional Criaderas and Soleras system. Today, the brand is owned by the global Emperador Group.

We estimate this bottle is from the 1950s decade. Bottle in good condition, taken into account its age.
