Bodegas Luis Cañas is a family winery located in Villabuena, within the Rioja Alavesa sub-region. The Cañas family has been involved in the wine industry for four generations. The winery was founded in 1970, when they began bottling and marketing their own wines; prior to this, they sold their wine in bulk to other producers in the area.

It is difficult to find older wines from this family winery due to strong demand for its wines and their good value for money on the market.

Bottles are in good condition, with the liquid level at the upper shoulder.
