Bodegas Luis Cañas is a family winery located in Villabuena, within the Rioja Alavesa sub-region. The Cañas family has been connected to the wine world for four generations. The winery was founded in 1970, when they began bottling and marketing their own wines; prior to that, they sold wine in bulk to other producers in the area.

It is difficult to find old wines from this family winery due to the demand for their wines and their quality-price ratio on the market.
