Bodegas Riojanas is a centenary winery founded in 1890 in Cenicero, Rioja Alta. They produce wines under historic brands such as Monte Real and Viña Albina. The wines from Bodegas Riojanas are considered classic Riojas.

Fermentation took place in large wooden vats, followed by 36-40 months ageing in American oak barrels and a further 24-30 months resting in the cellars before being released to the market.

The 1981 vintage in Rioja has evolved fantastically and is highly sought after by wine lovers.

Bottle in very good condition with the liquid level 3cm below the cork.
