Bodegas Riojanas is a historic winery founded in 1890 in Cenicero, Rioja Alta. The winery produces wines under renowned brands such as Monte Real and Viña Albina. Its wines are considered classic examples of traditional Rioja style.

Fermentation took place in large wooden vats, followed by 36 to 40 months of ageing in American oak barrels and a further 24 to 30 months in the winery's underground cellars before release to the market.
