Bodegas Federico Paternina is a centenary winery founded in 1896 by Don Federico Paternina Josue in the village of Ollauri, in Rioja Alta. Paternina is one of the great classics of Rioja. In 2014, it was acquired by the Marqués de la Concordia Group.

1982 was an excellent vintage. The wine spent around 24 months in large wooden vats, followed by about 48 months in American oak barrels, and then was bottle-aged in the winery’s impressive underground cellars before being released to the market.

Bottle in very good condition. Liquid level 3 cm below the cork.
