Founded on September 10, 1756, by Royal Charter (Alvará Régio) of King José I. Known as Real Companhia Velha or the Royal Oporto Wine Company. The cellars of this bicentennial company are in Gaia.

Vintage Port is produced exclusively from grapes harvested in an exceptional year. The year must be declared a vintage by the winery and approved by the Douro and Porto Wine Institute (IVDP), something that occurs only about 3 or 4 times per decade.

This 2007 Vintage Port underwent an initial maturation period of 2 years in 500-liter French oak barrels before being bottled to continue its development in the bottle.

Bottle in very good condition, with its original box. Kept in a wine cellar under controlled temperature conditions.
