Ron Cubay Carta Blanca Extra Añejo (also commercially known, and more commonly in Cuba, as Cubay Carta Blanca Extra Viejo) is a jewel of the Cuban rum industry. Originally launched in late 2015 by Cuba Ron S.A., it stands out as a technological milestone, being one of the first occasions in Cuba where a "Carta Blanca" (white/light) rum was produced with such an extended 14-year aging period. It was developed by Master Rum Maker César Augusto Martí at the Ronera Central de Santo Domingo, Villa Clara.

Aged for a minimum of 14 years in American white oak barrels. The process combines selected extra-aged rums that subsequently undergo charcoal filtration to reduce the dark color while preserving the complexity gained from years of maturation in wood.
