Bodegas Muga is a family-owned winery founded in 1932 and located in the historic La Estación district of Haro, in the Rioja region. The winery combines the most traditional winemaking methods with advanced modern techniques. It also produces its own barrels from the finest oak, carefully toasting them to achieve wines with a unique character.

Torre Muga was the first non-classified wine produced by Bodegas Muga. With Torre Muga, the winery departed from the traditional Spanish classifications of Crianza, Reserva, and Gran Reserva. It is a blend of 75% Tempranillo, 15% Mazuelo, and 10% Graciano. The wine is aged for 18 months in French oak barrels followed by 6 months in large oak vats.

The bottle is in very good condition and has been stored in a temperature-controlled wine cellar.
