Founded in 1864 by Eloy Lecanda and managed by the Álvarez family since 1982, Vega Sicilia is Spain's most iconic winery and undoubtedly one of the best in the world. Since 1915, Único and Valbuena have been cult wines among wine enthusiasts. Today, Tempos Vega Sicilia is the name of the parent company that manages the group's wineries, which, in addition to the original Vega Sicilia, include four others: Alión, Pintia, Macán, and Tokaj-Oremus.

Valbuena 5º Año is aged for 5 years in barrels and bottles. Aged in 225-liter American and French oak vats. Fermented in large vats.

Bottles from a collection kept in a temperature-controlled cellar. Labels are slightly stained and one has a small tear with liquid remaining at the base of the neck.
