Starting price 480 €

We are pleased to auction one of the earliest vintages of Viña Real Reserva Especial. At the beginning of the 20th century, the major wineries of Haro (Barrio de la Estación) used to classify their wine styles according to the great French wine regions: Bordeaux Style, Burgundy Style, and Sauternes Style.

Viña Real was created under the Burgundy Style concept, although the grape varieties used were the local varieties of Rioja Alavesa: Tempranillo and Garnacha.

We are pleased to present one of the first bottles released to the market. The label clearly reads"Tipo Borgoña" (Burgundy Type).

The bottle is in good condition considering the age of the wine.

The fill level is approximately 5 to 7 cm below the cork.

A genuine collector's item for lovers and collectors of historic Rioja wines.

Stored in a temperature-controlled cellar, although the condition of the wine itself cannot be guaranteed.
