Bodegas Rafael López de Heredia Viña Tondonia was founded in 1877 in Haro by Don Rafael López de Heredia. This century-old winery embodies the purest classicism of the Rioja Designation of Origin. A family-run winery since its inception, it is now managed by the fourth generation, represented by the three López Heredia Montoya siblings (María José, Mercedes, and Julio). Bodegas López de Heredia sources its grapes from its own vineyard, acquired by their great-grandfather. Following tradition, they are committed to artisanal winemaking, fermentations in wooden vats, manual racking, and very long aging periods in barrel and bottle. López de Heredia handcrafts its own barrels, making it the only winery in Spain with its own barrel-making workshop. Their red, white, and even rosé wines have an aging potential of many years. Without a doubt, López de Heredia wines are highly prized, coveted wines and should not be missing from the cellar of any wine enthusiast or professional.

Viña Gravonia 2007 Blanco is made with 100% Viura grapes. It is aged for four years in oak barrels crafted by the winery itself and racked twice a year. Bottled unfiltered, it rests in the winery's cellars before being released for sale.
