The historic Berberana Cosecha Especial 1952 comes from a century-old winery founded in 1877 by Don Miguel Martínez Berberana in the village of Ollauri, in the heart of the Rioja Designation of Origin.

This wine is a true oenological treasure. The 1950s in Rioja left an extraordinary legacy for lovers of old wines. At All Drinks Auction, we are passionate about aged wines from historic wineries such as Berberana, especially those from the 1950s and earlier.

The Berberana Special Vintage 1952 was aged for 18 to 24 months in large old wooden vats dating back to the winery’s founding era, followed by 8 to 9 years in 225-litre American oak barrels. It was bottled during the 1960s.
