Starting price 15 €

Señorío de Líbano Winery is located within the Castillo de Sajazarra, a 14th-century fortress in the La Rioja wine region of Spain.

In the late 1960s, the Líbano family purchased the castle, which was then in ruins, with the aim of restoring it. During the restoration, medieval wine presses and fermentation vats were discovered in the dungeons. In 1973, the current winery was built in the castle gardens, creating the concept of a French-style "château" surrounded by vineyards. The family's third generation currently manages the wine-producing project.

The estate cultivates approximately 50 hectares of its own vineyards surrounding the property in Sajazarra, an elevated area with Atlantic climatic influence from the Obarenes Mountains.
