Château Lafite Rothschild is one of the great icons of the wine world. It is probably the most internationally renowned wine and the benchmark of Bordeaux wines. Located in the Pauillac area of the Médoc, northwest of Bordeaux, it has been owned by the Rothschild family since 1868. Within the French wine classification system, Château Lafite holds the highest distinction, Premier Grand Cru Classé, as established in the 1855 Classification.

The bottle is in excellent condition and has been stored in a wine cellar under controlled temperature conditions.

The 2009 vintage was outstanding, and wine critics around the world have consistently praised both the wine and this exceptional harvest.
