Bodegas Faustino was founded in 1861 in Oyón (Álava). More than 160 years have passed since its founder, Eleuterio Martínez, through to the current fourth generation at the helm of the winery. Its vineyard area covers over 650 hectares. It is the largest producer of Rioja Gran Reserva. Faustino is a globally recognized brand and was one of the first exporters of Rioja. Its labels are easily identifiable in the market.

Faustino I is the best-selling Rioja Gran Reserva in the world.

The 1970 vintage in Rioja is considered excellent.
