C.N. Kopke is universally recognized as the oldest Port wine house in the world. It was founded in 1638 by Nicolau Kopke, a diplomat of the Hanseatic League. Based in Portugal’s iconic Douro Valley, at the magnificent Quinta de São Luiz estate, the house is renowned for its meticulous wood-aging techniques and its historic hand-stencilled bottles. Kopke is famous for having established the global benchmark for aged Tawny Ports and rare single-harvest Colheita Ports.

Kopke 10-Year-Old Tawny Port is produced from a blend of different vintages and undergoes an average age of 10 years in oak casks through an oxidative maturation process.
