Bodegas Luis Cañas is a family-owned winery located in Villabuena, within the Rioja Alavesa sub-region. The Cañas family has been involved in the wine industry for four generations. The winery was founded in 1970, when they began bottling and marketing their own wines. Prior to that date, they sold their wine in bulk to other producers in the area.

Crianza 2019 is a blend of Tempranillo, Garnacha, Graciano, Viura and Malvasía grapes. The average age of the vineyards is 30 years. The wine is aged for 12 months in American and French oak barrels.
