Bodegas Luis Cañas is a family-owned winery located in Villabuena, within the Rioja Alavesa sub-region. The Cañas family has been involved in the wine industry for four generations. The winery was founded in 1970, when they began bottling and marketing their own wines. Prior to that date, they sold their wine in bulk to other producers in the area.

Reserva 2016 Family Selection is a blend of 85% Tempranillo and 15% other grape varieties. It was aged for 20 months in new French and American oak barrels and bottled in January 2019.
