Winery was founded in 1970 by Enrique Forner in Cenicero, La Rioja. A pioneering winery in the use of French oak barrels for aging wines during the 1970s.

This 1968 vintage was released to the market in 1975. It used selected grapes purchased from another Rioja winery, as Marqués de Cáceres had not yet built its own facilities.

Bottle in good condition, with the fill level at the lower neck. Label slightly stained and partially detached.
