The origins of the century-old Marqués de Murrieta winery date back to 1852, when Don Luciano de Murrieta built the Ygay Castle on his estate and produced the first Rioja wine. Since 1983, the Cebrián family has taken up the mantle of preserving the spirit of innovation, quality, and excellence, positioning it today as one of the most prestigious wineries in the world.


This vintage marks the beginning of the Cebrián family’s leadership of the winery.


It is a blend of Tempranillo, Graciano, Mazuelo and Garnacha.
