The winery Herederos del Marqués de Riscal was founded in 1858 and is based in the town of Elciego. It has more than 160 years of history. A globally recognized brand that exports to more than 110 countries. Its wines have maintained high and consistent quality harvest after harvest since their beginnings. Specialized in Reservas and Gran Reservas, they have carried the name of Rioja to every corner of the world.

The grapes used to produce this Gran Reserva come from old vines over 80 years old with very low yields. It is composed of 90% Tempranillo, 8% Graciano, and 2% Mazuelo. Aged in French oak barrels for 31 months and then refined in bottle in the winery’s cellars for 36 months before being released onto the market.
