Bodegas Riojanas is a century-old winery founded in 1890 in Cenicero, Rioja Alta. They produce wines under historic brands such as Monte Real and Viña Albina. The wines of Bodegas Riojanas fall within what are known as classic Rioja styles.

This Reserva Especial is made exclusively from 100% Tempranillo grapes sourced from the El Monte estate in Cenicero. The vines have an average age of 40 years. It undergoes long aging in American oak barrels for 36-40 months, followed by a further 36 months of bottle aging in the winery before being released to the market. The Reserva Especial is only produced in vintages of exceptional quality.

Bottles are in perfect condition, with the liquid level 1.5 cm. under the cork.
