Bodegas Montebaco is a prestigious family winery located in the heart of Ribera del Duero, in the town of Valbuena de Duero, more precisely in a place called Finca Alto, at an altitude of 900 metres. Founded in 1987 by Manuel Esteban, the winery is now managed by the second generation.

Montebaco produces wines of outstanding quality with excellent ageing potential. They own 50 hectares of vineyards in what is known as the Golden Mile of Ribera del Duero, where the most prestigious and pioneering wineries of the Denomination are found, maintaining tradition.

Montebaco Vendimia Seleccionada is produced only in years of exceptional quality. Aged for 15 months in new French oak barrels. The 2010 harvest was bottled in 2014.
