Founded on September 10, 1756, by Royal Charter (Alvará Régio) of King José I. Known as Real Companhia Velha or the Royal Oporto Wine Company. The cellars of this bicentennial company are in Gaia.


LBV (Late Bottled Vintage) means that the wine comes from a single harvest. It is aged in large oak vats for a typical period of 4 to 6 years before being bottled.


Bottle in very good condition. Kept in a wine cellar under controlled temperature conditions.


This 1967 bottle was bottled in 1973.
