Bodegas Rafael López de Heredia Viña Tondonia was founded in 1877 in Haro by Don Rafael López de Heredia. This historic winery represents the purest expression of classicism within the Rioja Designation of Origin. Family-owned since its inception, it is currently managed by the fourth generation, represented by the three López Heredia Montoya siblings: María José, Mercedes, and Julio. The winery sources its grapes exclusively from its own vineyards, acquired by their great-grandfather. Faithful to tradition, they remain committed to artisanal winemaking, fermenting in wooden vats, carrying out manual rackings, and aging their wines for long periods in both barrel and bottle. López de Heredia also crafts its own barrels and is the only winery in Spain with its own cooperage workshop. Its red, white, and rosé wines are renowned for their remarkable aging potential and longevity. Without a doubt, López de Heredia wines are highly prized and sought after, and are considered essential in the cellar of any wine enthusiast or professional.

Viña Gravonia 2015 White is made exclusively from the Viura grape variety. It is aged for four years in oak barrels crafted by the winery itself and undergoes two rackings per year. The wine is bottled unfiltered and rests in the winery's underground cellars before being released to the market.
