Walsh Whiskey is a prominent independent Irish whiskey company famous for creating the award -winning premium brands Writers Tears and The Irishman. Founded in 1999 by Bernard and Rosemary Walsh in County Carlow, the company focuses on recreating historic 19^th -century styles of triple distilled Irish single malts and pot still blend.

Writers Tears cask strength is an annual limited released. It is triple distilled, non-chill filtered and bottled straight from the barrel.

The blend is a rare combination of aged Single Pot Still and aged Single Malt Irish whiskeys.

This bottle is the 2018 released only 5175 bottles produced.
