Walsh Whiskey is a prominent independent Irish whiskey company, renowned for creating the award-winning premium brands Writers Tears and The Irishman. Founded in 1999 by Bernard and Rosemary Walsh in County Carlow, the company is dedicated to recreating historic styles of triple-distilled Irish whiskey from the nineteenth century, including both single malts and pot still blends.

Writers Tears Cask Strength is an annual, limited release. It is triple-distilled, non-chill filtered and bottled directly from the cask.

The blend is a rare combination of aged Irish Single Pot Still and Single Malt whiskeys.

This bottle belongs to the 2021 release; only 4,500 bottles were produced.
