This red wine comes from the century-old winery CVNE, Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España, founded in 1879 in Haro. It's a classic from the Rioja Qualified Designation of Origin, especially for wine lovers who appreciate wines with significant bottle aging potential. The 1970 vintage is considered excellent and is regarded as a cult classic by lovers of great wines from the Rioja Qualified Designation of Origin.

Bottle in excellent condition and the liquid level at the bottom of the neck.

It is composed of 75% Tempranillo, 15% Graciano and 10% Mazuelo.

Aged in American oak barrels for over 40 months and then aged in the bottle for no less than 72 months in the winery's cellars before release. Imperial is only produced in exceptional vintage years.
