Domaine Jean Louis Chave is one of the most prestigious producers in the Northern Rhône region. A legendary winemaker, his Hermitage—both red and white—has achieved cult status. The Chave family has been making wine in this area since the late 15th century, specifically since 1481.

The 1981 vintage is highly sought after and rare.
